National Education policy 2020

 

NEP-2020, which will replace the National Policy on Education-1986, is an inclusive framework focusing on the elementary-level of education to higher education in the country.

      Drawbacks of NEP 2020

  •    Language  - already less student teacher ratio. Finding competent teacher becomes another challenge as study material in regional language
  • For completing graduation -four years, For completing diploma degree- two years. This might encourage the pupil to leave the course midway
  • Students of the private schools will be introduced to English at a much earlier age than the students of the Government schools, widening the gap between sections of the societies.
